Syntetica was born in 2023, when AI was still an open question — especially in design. Most designers were watching from a distance. More doubt than experimentation, more fear than curiosity. The project responds to that moment: a magazine that explores AI not as a technical tool but as a cultural and creative phenomenon. Each chapter approaches the subject from a different angle — design process, visual language, authorship, the blurred line between human and machine. The name itself says it: synthesis. Something hybrid, neither fully one thing nor the other. Developed as a BA thesis at RUFA Rome, Syntetica is not a manifesto or a manual — it's an attempt to think through something while it was still forming. Research, visual experimentation, and editorial design working as a single project.
